Project Manager (Architectural)

PROJECT MANAGER (Architectural)Position
Summary:
The Project Manager will organize, schedule, and manage projects received from the Sales Department through project closeout and be the company's main connection with their clients.
This position is a direct report to the General Manager.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assist Estimators and Sales in generating quoted lead times.
Support Sales in the review of proposed contracts during sales negotiations.
Negotiate and execute final contracts with installers identified by Sales when required.
Compile project file and start-up paperwork and CRM input data following execution of the contract for submission into Engineering.
Develop and distribute projects schedules in accordance with contract requirements for signoff by Engineering and Production.
Assist Estimating in the Development of Schedules-of-Values for payment processing and obtain client acceptance.
Monitor and manage Engineering and Production schedule adherence and report weekly to the General Manager.
Issue updated schedules as required.
Interface with clients as required throughout the contract regarding payments, project status and as required to support Engineering and Production activities.
Assist Accounting in the compiling, issuance and review of client invoices and progress payment applications.
Meet with the Sales, Engineering and Production departments on a minimum of a weekly basis as required to maintain project schedule adherence and to proactively manage to avoid potential delays and cost overruns.
Negotiate and manage outside drafting services vendors when required.
Prepare and manage the processing of Change Orders as may be required.
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints from clients throughout the project.
Some occasional travel may be required.
Conduct site inspections as may be required.
Attend site startup meetings as may be required.
Ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
Compile an issue to clients all project closeout requirements in accordance with the contracts.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written and customer service communication skills.
Ability to generate, issue and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project or other familiar scheduling software.
Excellent proactive organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, management, Architectural or Engineering or equivalent job experience.
At least three years of related experience required.
PMP and/or comparable project management certifications desirable.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability and willingness to occasionally travel (estimated 10% of time) Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
