Position Summary
Provide leadership in the Cheese Department. Guide, develop and coach Team Members, attempt to exceed customer requirements, make the store a great place to work and lead the execution of merchandising initiatives to stimulate the growth of the business and maximize profits.
Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule employees and delegate work assignments in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement when applicable, effectively utilizing employees and supplies to provide excellent customer service, and to maximize the store's profits.
  • Prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes to calculate gross monthly profit according to Company policy.
  • Develop and implement merchandising plans using guidelines and suggestions in order to meet the financial objectives of the department.
  • Control department costs by monitoring and improving operations to increase profitability.
  • Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided by a trainer to department employees in order to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
  • Develop and maintain communication processes with other departments in order to develop marketing plans that help to meet the financial objectives of the store.
  • Analyze the Customer Satisfaction Index and Employee Satisfaction Index to identify areas needing improvement and develop processes and/or procedures to address those issues.
  • Promote the continuous development of employees and identify candidates for Management Development Process.
  • Provide leadership that promotes and exemplifies a Passion for Food.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Responsible for controlling some expense within a department.

Education and Training Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required
  • 1 to 3 years

Age Requirement
  • At least 18 years of age

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
